Provided are high titer Japanese encephalitis virus genotype 5 and uses thereof, specifically a high titer virus produced using subculture and mouse cerebral inoculation method and a vaccine composition comprising the same.

High titer Japanese encephalitis virus genotype 5 K15P38-KNIH.
A method for producing high titer Japanese encephalitis virus genotype 5 K15P38-KNIH, comprising:
- a step of inoculating the cerebrum of a mouse with an isolated Japanese encephalitis virus;
- and
- a step of obtaining Japanese encephalitis virus from the mouse cerebrum.
