Abstract
An aqueous ink for ink jet recording includes a polylactic acid as a fixing agent. An aqueous ink for ink jet recording includes water; a coloring agent; and a fixing agent, in which the fixing agent contains a polylactic acid. The water is preferably a main solvent. The coloring agent preferably includes a pigment.
