Lashing device for boat cover suspension system

A boat cover suspension system comprising:

• a lashing assembly attached to a boat cover, the lashing assembly including a first cap and a second cap secured to the first cap,
• the boat cover having an upper side and a lower side, the lower side being opposite the upper side, an engaged portion of the boat cover being disposed between the first cap and the second cap;
• a first tether portion coupled to the lashing assembly and extending from the upper side of the boat cover;
• a second tether portion coupled to the lashing assembly and extending beneath the lower side of the boat cover;
• wherein the first tether portion supports the lashing assembly at a determined height, and the second tether portion supports a portion of the boat cover beneath which the second tether portion extends.
