A method of treating and/or preventing blood clotting in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the subject 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid (15-HEPE) or a composition comprising 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid (15-HEPE), wherein administering the composition has an anticoagulant and/or antithrombotic effect.
A method of treating and/or preventing a venous thromboembolism in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering to the subject 15-hydroxyeicosapentaenoic acid (15-HEPE) or a composition comprising 15-HEPE.
