Abstract
The present invention relates to an anchoring system (11) comprising an anchoring device (1), a prosthetic heart valve support (12), preferably made of a continuous mesh or laser cut, and a prosthetic heart valve (13) mounted in the prosthetic heart valve support (12) wherein the anchoring device (1) is characterized by a double wall made of a braided mesh and a groove for accommodating the native valve.
Claims17
An anchoring system for anchoring a prosthetic heart valve inside a heart, comprising:
- i) an expandable anchoring device;
- ii) a prosthetic heart valve support, and
- iii) a prosthetic heart valve mounted on the prosthetic heart valve support;
- wherein
- the anchoring device in an expanded state a ventricular part, an extraventricular part, and a groove between the ventricular part;
- the ventricular part includes a double wall;
- and
- the anchoring device includes a plurality of arms extending outwardly from the outer wall of the ventricular part.
