Abstract
The present invention is a slide bait comprising a head portion having a slot which passes from a first side to a second side and an attachment member secured to the second side of the head portion; and a bait body securing to the head portion via the attachment member.

A slide bait comprising:
- a head portion having a slot which passes from a first side to a second side and an attachment member secured to the second side of the head portion;
- and
- a bait body securing to the head portion via the attachment member.
A slide bait lure comprising:
- a head portion having a slot which passes from a first side to a second side and an attachment member secured to the second side of the head portion, wherein the attachment member comprises a corkscrew rod and a straight rod;
- a bait body securing to the head portion via the attachment member;
- and
- a hook inserted into the slot and passing through a portion of the bait body.

- a head portion having a slot passing through the head portion;

- wherein the slot is sized to receive a hook, and the hook extending through the bait body.
