Ducted room and shower heating system

Abstract

This heating system includes a ceiling or wall mounted housing containing a fan, motor, electric heater and optional controller which connects to a discharge vent via a duct which can all fit within a wall. It has primary usages as a room or shower heater where it can be recessed into a wall or ceiling where it intakes air from the room, heats it and routes it through an insulated duct in the wall and vents it back into the room near the floor. In a shower, the heater can be located high on the wall or in the ceiling away from the shower to keep it away from splashed water. Additionally, the heater and vent can both be mounted in the ceiling where the heater is outside the shower and the vent is in the shower. It can be controlled by a switch, wired thermostat or wireless remote.
