Methods, devices, and systems for transmitting information with limited channel bandwidth

An apparatus comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor in communication with the memory, wherein, when the at least one processor executes the instructions, the at least one processor is configured to cause the apparatus to perform:
• transmitting a synchronization signal or physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block (SSB) to a user equipment (UE), wherein a channel bandwidth is smaller than a bandwidth of the SSB, by at least one of:
• indicating an SSB index with at least one bit carried on a PBCH or a PBCH demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in the SSB;
• mapping at least one of PBCH DMRS or PBCH data on the channel bandwidth or the bandwidth of the SSB;
• and
• configuring a resource of a control resource set (CORESET) according to a frequency granularity.

A method for wireless communication, comprising:

• receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a synchronization signal or physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block (SSB) from a base station, wherein a channel bandwidth is smaller than a bandwidth of the SSB, by at least one of:
• determining an SSB index with at least one bit carried on a PBCH or a PBCH demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in the SSB;
• receiving at least one of PBCH DMRS or PBCH data on the channel bandwidth or the bandwidth of the SSB;
• and
• receiving a resource of a control resource set (CORESET) according to a frequency granularity.

An apparatus comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor in communication with the memory, wherein, when the at least one processor executes the instructions, the at least one processor is configured to cause the apparatus to perform:
