Abstract
Methods, apparatuses, and storage media for improving support for multiple subscriber identity module (multi-SIM) terminals in a wireless communication network. Support for the multi-SIM terminals is improved by: sending capability indication information to a network side device, where the capability indication information is used for indicating whether the terminal is capable of performing multi-SIM connection switching.

A capability indication method, performed by a terminal, comprising:
- sending capability indication information to a network side device, wherein the capability indication information is used for indicating whether the terminal is capable of performing multiple subscriber identity module (multi-SIM) connection switching.
