Abstract
A method and an apparatus for determining a downlink TCI state, a terminal, and a network side device. The method for determining a downlink TCI state in embodiments of this application includes: A terminal obtains common beam information indicated by a network side device. The common beam information includes N first transmission configuration indicator TCI states. The first TCI state is a joint TCI state or a separate downlink DL TC state. N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The terminal determines a target TCI state of a target downlink channel based on target information.
Claims20
A method for determining a downlink TCI state, wherein the method comprises:
- obtaining, by a terminal, common beam information indicated by a network side device, wherein the common beam information comprises N first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, the first TCI state is a joint TCI state or a separate downlink (DL) TCI state, and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1;
- and
- determining, by the terminal, a target TCI state of a target downlink channel based on target information, wherein the target information comprises at least one of the following:
- an arrangement sequence or a location of the first TCI state;
- a correspondence between the first TCI state and first identification information;
- a type of the target downlink channel;
- a transmission mode of the target downlink channel;
- a time-domain behavior of the target downlink channel;
- or,
- a value of first identification information corresponding to the target downlink channel, wherein
- the first identification information comprises:
- a CORESET pool index (CORESETPoolIndex).
A method for determining a downlink TCI state, wherein the method comprises:
- indicating, by a network side device, common beam information to a terminal, wherein the common beam information comprises N first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, the first TCI state is a joint TCI state or a separate downlink (DL) TCI state, and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1;
- and
- determining, by the network side device, a target TCI state of a target downlink channel based on target information, wherein the target information comprises at least one of the following:
- an arrangement sequence or a location of the first TCI state;
- a correspondence between the first TCI state and first identification information;
- a type of the target downlink channel;
- a transmission mode of the target downlink channel;
- a time-domain behavior of the target downlink channel;
- or,
- a value of first identification information corresponding to the target downlink channel, wherein
- the first identification information comprises:
- a CORESET pool index (CORESETPoolIndex).
A terminal, comprising a processor and a memory, wherein the memory stores a program or instructions executable on the processor, wherein the program or the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the terminal to perform:
- obtaining common beam information indicated by a network side device, wherein the common beam information comprises N first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, the first TCI state is a joint TCI state or a separate downlink (DL) TCI state, and N is an integer greater than or equal to 1;
- and
- determining a target TCI state of a target downlink channel based on target information, wherein the target information comprises at least one of the following:
- an arrangement sequence or a location of the first TCI state;
- a correspondence between the first TCI state and first identification information;
- a type of the target downlink channel;
- a transmission mode of the target downlink channel;
- a time-domain behavior of the target downlink channel;
- or,
- a value of first identification information corresponding to the target downlink channel, wherein
- the first identification information comprises:
- a CORESET pool index (CORESETPoolIndex).
