Abstract
A method for reporting a multi-carrier aggregation capability. The method includes reporting a first aggregation bandwidth class or aggregation capability information supported by the terminal device to a network side device through a first signaling, and reporting a second aggregation bandwidth class supported by the terminal device to the network side device through a second signaling; in which the second aggregation bandwidth class reported through the second signaling is a fallback aggregation bandwidth class of the first aggregation bandwidth class reported through the first signaling.

A method for reporting a multi-carrier aggregation capability, performed by a terminal device, the method comprising:
- reporting a first aggregation bandwidth class or aggregation capability information supported by the terminal device to a network side device through a first signaling, and reporting a second aggregation bandwidth class supported by the terminal device to the network side device through a second signaling;
- wherein the second aggregation bandwidth class reported through the second signaling is a fallback aggregation bandwidth class of the first aggregation bandwidth class reported through the first signaling.

A method for acquiring a multi-carrier aggregation capability, performed by a network side device, and the method comprising:
- receiving a first signaling and a second signaling sent by a terminal device;
- wherein the first signaling is configured to indicate a first aggregation bandwidth class or aggregation capability information supported by the terminal device, and the second signaling is configured to indicate a second aggregation bandwidth class supported by the terminal device, wherein the second aggregation bandwidth class reported through the second signaling is a fallback aggregation bandwidth class of the first aggregation bandwidth class reported through the first signaling.

- the computer program is executed by the processor, and the processor is configured to:
- report a first aggregation bandwidth class or aggregation capability information supported by the terminal device to a network side device through a first signaling, and report a second aggregation bandwidth class supported by the terminal device to the network side device through a second signaling;
- wherein the second aggregation bandwidth class reported through the second signaling is a fallback aggregation bandwidth class of the first aggregation bandwidth class reported through the first signaling.
