The advertising expression assessment device of this invention is equipped with a storage unit that stores assessment data for determining the usage acceptability of an advertising expression in multiple countries based on advertising review guidelines, an acquisition unit that obtains the advertising expression, a translation unit that obtains language expressions translated into the language of each of said countries for the obtained advertising expression, an expression assessment unit that determines the usage acceptability to ascertain whether an advertising expression is acceptable for use in each of said countries based on the assessment data, and an output unit that outputs display data listing the language expressions for each of said countries and their respective usage acceptability.
