Methods and apparatuses for measuring fluid composition and turbidity

An apparatus for measuring a fluid turbidity and a fluid composition by a controller component, comprising:

• a light source;
• a tube;
• an image pattern slide;
• an imager located on a second sidewall of the tube;
• and
• a controller component electrically connected to the light source and the imager, wherein the controller component is configured to:
• cause the imager to capture a baseline image of the image pattern slide;
• cause the light source to project at least one light beam through an image pattern slide and a fluid flow through the tube;
• cause the imager to capture an image of the image pattern slide;
• and
• determine the fluid turbidity based on the image of the image pattern slide and the baseline image of the image pattern slide.
