A method of migrating data from disparate object storage environments, the method comprising:
- initiating a migration from a first object store to a second object store;
- and
- processing one or more requests for data from the first object store during the migration.
An apparatus for migrating data from disparate object storage environments, the apparatus comprising a computer processor, a computer memory operatively coupled to the computer processor, the computer memory having disposed within it computer program instructions that, when executed by the computer processor, cause the apparatus to carry out steps comprising:
- initiating a migration from a first object store to a second object store;
- and
- processing one or more requests for data from the first object store during the migration.
