Abstract
Haloperidol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or solvate thereof, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same, for use in methods for preventing and/or treating spinal muscular atrophy, are described.
Claims17
A method for preventing and/or treating spinal muscular atrophy, said method comprising administering an effective amount of haloperidol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or solvate thereof, to a subject in need thereof.
A method for preventing and/or treating spinal muscular atrophy, said method comprising administering an effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising haloperidol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or solvate thereof, to a subject in need thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising (i) haloperidol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or solvate thereof, (ii) moxifloxacin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester or solvate thereof, and (iii) at least a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein said pharmaceutical composition comprises a molar ratio of haloperidol:
- moxifloxacin from 1:5 to 1:10.
