Abstract
A method for producing a semiconductor nanoparticle includes: mixing a Zn ion source solution and a Te ion source solution and preparing a precursor solution; and placing the precursor solution in a closed container and heating the precursor solution. The adjusting the precursor solution includes adjusting a pH of the precursor solution to 5 or more and 9 or less, and the preparing the precursor solution and the heating the precursor solution include removing oxygen in the precursor solution to have an oxygen concentration of 2 mg/L or less in the precursor solution.
Claims12
A method for producing a semiconductor nanoparticle, the method comprising:
- mixing a Zn ion source solution and a Te ion source solution to prepare a precursor solution;
- and
- putting the precursor solution in a closed container and heating the precursor solution,
- wherein the preparing the precursor solution includes adjusting a pH of the precursor solution to 5 or more and 9 or less, and
- the preparing the precursor solution and the heating the precursor solution include removing oxygen in the precursor solution to have an oxygen concentration of 2 mg/L or less in the precursor solution.
A semiconductor nanoparticle comprising:
- a core part having a zinc blende structure of ZnTe;
- and
- a ligand bonded to an atom on a surface of the core part.
