An aerosol generating article includes a first segment which includes: a filling material and a susceptor disposed to enclose a portion of the filling material and be enclosed by another portion of the filling material; and a second segment disposed next to the first segment along a lengthwise direction of the aerosol generating article.

An aerosol generating article comprising:
- a first segment comprising:
- a filling material;
- and
- a susceptor disposed to enclose a portion of the filling material and be enclosed by another portion of the filling material;
- and
- a second segment disposed next to the first segment along a lengthwise direction of the aerosol generating article.
