Abstract
A response vehicle system includes a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to determine whether a response vehicle has arrived at a scene and provide a signal to switch the response vehicle from an operational condition to a locked condition at least in response to the vehicle arriving at the scene, thereby preventing undesired operation of the response vehicle.

A response vehicle system comprising:
- a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- determine whether a response vehicle has arrived at a scene;
- and
- provide a signal to switch the response vehicle from an operational condition to a locked condition at least in response to the vehicle arriving at the scene, thereby preventing undesired operation of the response vehicle.
A response vehicle system comprising:
- a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- provide a first signal to switch a response vehicle to a scene mode in response to at least a driver door of the response vehicle being opened while the response vehicle is on, wherein, in the scene mode, the response vehicle cannot be driven but a prime mover and a vehicle subsystem of the response vehicle remain operational, the vehicle subsystem including at least one of a generator, a fluid system including a pump and at least one of a foam system or a water system, a siren, or a lighting system;
- receive a user unlock request;
- authenticate the user unlock request;
- and
- provide a second signal to switch the vehicle from the scene mode to drive mode in response to authenticating the user unlock request to allow the response vehicle to be driven.
A response vehicle system comprising:
- a first response vehicle including a first processing circuit and a first transceiver;
- a second response vehicle including a second processing circuit and a second transceiver;
- and
- a mobile device;
- wherein the first transceiver, the second transceiver, and the mobile device are configured to facilitate localized wireless communication;
- and
- wherein a first one of the first processing circuit, the second processing circuit, or the mobile device is configured to:
- determine if retransmission of a respective signal transmitted by a second one of the first processing circuit, the second processing circuit, or the mobile device is necessary for the respective signal to reach a third one of the first processing circuit, the second processing circuit, or the mobile device;
- and
- retransmit the respective signal such that the respective signal reaches the third one of the first processing circuit, the second processing circuit, or the mobile device.
