Methods of real-time blending with a pump

A method of blending fluids, the method comprising:

• receiving a first fluid via a first conduit from a first fluid source;
• receiving a second fluid via a second conduit from a second fluid source,
• wherein the first fluid comprises a brine solution;
• detecting, by a first flow meter, a flow rate through the first conduit;
• controlling a size of a flow passage to the first conduit through a first flow control valve;
• controlling a size of a flow passage to the second conduit through a second flow control valve;
• pumping the first fluid from the first conduit and the second fluid from the second conduit though a mixer to form a blended fluid in an output conduit, wherein a variable speed pump located downstream of the mixer pumps the first fluid from the first conduit and the second fluid from the second conduit though the mixer and pumps the blended fluid through the output conduit to a tank on a vehicle;
• and
• reaching a target blend of the first fluid and the second fluid at a target flow rate of the blended fluid by adjusting, by a controller, the first flow control valve, the second flow control valve, and the speed of the variable speed pump.

A method of blending fluids, the method comprising:

• receiving a first fluid via a first conduit from a first fluid source;
• receiving a second fluid via a second conduit from a second fluid source;
• detecting, by a first flow meter, a flow rate through the first conduit;
• controlling a size of a flow passage to the first conduit through a first flow control valve;
• controlling a size of a flow passage to the second conduit through a second flow control valve;
• pumping the first fluid from the first conduit and the second fluid from the second conduit though a mixer to form a blended fluid in an output conduit, wherein a pump located downstream of the mixer pumps the first fluid from the first conduit and the second fluid from the second conduit though the mixer and pumps the blended fluid through the output conduit to a tank on a vehicle;
• and
• reaching a target blend of the first fluid and the second fluid at a target flow rate of the blended fluid by adjusting, by the controller, the first flow control valve and the second flow control valve.
