Zooming method and apparatus for image acquisition device

An apparatus for zooming an image capture device, comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory, the memory storing a computer program executable by the processor, the processor executing the computer program to:

• output a first image collected by a first camera of the image capturing device, wherein the first camera has a first focal length;
• control switching of the current focal length of the image capturing device from the first focal length supported by the first camera to a second focal length supported by a second camera of the image capturing device;
• and
• output a second image collected by the second camera while maintaining a position of a target object in the second image to be the same as a position of the target object in the first image,
• wherein the first focal length and the second focal length are not identical.
