Abstract
Methods and apparatuses for implicitly reporting Doppler shift are disclosed. A method comprises receiving a configuration that indicates a TRS resource associated with a SRS resource for Doppler shift reporting; and transmitting the SRS resource, with a transmit frequency that is the same as a receive frequency of the TRS resource.

A remote unit, comprising:
- a receiver that receives a configuration that indicates a tracking reference signal (TRS) resource associated with a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource for Doppler shift reporting;
- and
- a transmitter that transmit the SRS resource with a transmit frequency that is the same as a receive frequency of the TRS resource.
A transmission and reception point (TRP), comprising:
- transmitting a configuration that indicates a tracking reference signal (TRS) resource associated with a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource for Doppler shift reporting;
- and
- receiving the SRS resource with a receive frequency.
