Abstract
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for dynamically updating a forwarding configuration of a mobile repeater. An exemplary method for wireless communications at a repeater includes modifying a forwarding behavior based on a change in channel condition of a communications link between the repeater and a network entity and forwarding one or more communications between the network entity and a user equipment (UE) in accordance with the modified forwarding behavior.
Claims20
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- a memory comprising processor-executable instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the processor-executable instructions and cause the apparatus to:
- modify a forwarding behavior based on a change in channel condition of a communications link between the apparatus and a network entity;
- and
- forward one or more communications between the network entity and a user equipment (UE) in accordance with the modified forwarding behavior.
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- a memory comprising processor-executable instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the processor-executable instructions and cause the apparatus to:
- output, for transmission to a repeater, a configuration, wherein the configuration configures the repeater to at least one of:
- detect a change in channel condition of a communications link between the repeater and the network entity;
- and
- modify a forwarding behavior of the repeater based on the change in channel condition;
- and
- output, for transmission to the repeater, a communication having a user equipment (UE) as an intended recipient.
A repeater, comprising:
- at least one transceiver;
- a memory comprising processor-executable instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the processor-executable instructions and cause the repeater to:
- modify a forwarding behavior based on a change in channel condition of a communications link between the repeater and a network entity;
- and
- forward, via the at least one transceiver, one or more communications between the network entity and a user equipment (UE) in accordance with the modified forwarding behavior.
