Detection apparatus, detection method, and detection program

A detection method in a detection apparatus provided for a signal transmission apparatus, the signal transmission apparatus being configured to receive a reception signal via a transmission line and including an adaptive filter to be applied to the reception signal, the detection method comprising:

• acquiring a filter coefficient of the adaptive filter;
• and
• detecting an abnormality in the transmission line, based on an amount of change over time in the acquired filter coefficient.

A recording medium in which a detection program used in a detection apparatus provided for a signal transmission apparatus is stored, the signal transmission apparatus being configured to receive a reception signal via a transmission line and including an adaptive filter to be applied to the reception signal, the detection program causing a computer to function as:

• an acquisition circuit configured to acquire a filter coefficient of the adaptive filter;
• and
• a detection circuit configured to detect an abnormality in the transmission line, based on an amount of change over time in the filter coefficient acquired by the acquisition circuit.
