Abstract
The invention relates to an electrode material comprising at least one organic redox-active polymer, at least one conductive additive, and polyvinyl butyral as a binder. The electrode material according to the invention makes it possible to manufacture organic batteries having improved charging and discharging capacities. The invention also relates to electrodes comprising the electrode material as well as to batteries comprising the electrodes. The electrode material can also be used for printing electrodes.
Claims23
An electrode material comprising:
- (i) at least one organic redox active polymer PRedox,
- (ii) at least one conductivity additive L,
- (iii) at least one binder B,
- (iv) optionally at least one ionic liquid IL1,
- whereby
- the binder B comprises at least one polymer PB1, which comprises a repeating unit of the following structural formula (I):
- wherein RB1 is one of hydrogen or acetyl,
- a is an integer ≥10,
- b is an integer ≥0,
- and wherein the bond marked by “*” binds a repeating unit of the structural formula (I) to the bond marked by “**” of the adjacent repeating unit of the structural formula (I).
