Abstract

Disclosed herein is a method for controlling an electrode shape and a method of manufacturing an electrode. The method includes molding a shape of an electrode slurry disposed on at least a part of an electrode sheet by irradiating laser on the electrode sheet, causing the electrode slurry of the irradiated portion to move to an adjacent portion. The method for controlling an electrode shape and the method of manufacturing an electrode according can minimize capacity loss and can control the direction of movement of an electrode slurry and the amount of movement of an electrode slurry to change the electrode shape.
