Abstract
An electrode assembly includes a cell stack in which electrodes and separator sections are alternately stacked, an adhesive layer formed on a side surface of the cell stack, and a finished separator. The finished separator wraps a periphery of the cell stack on which the adhesive layer is formed, wherein the adhesive layer comprises a laser absorption type adhesive.

An electrode assembly comprising:
- a cell stack in which electrodes and separator sections are alternately stacked;
- an adhesive layer formed on a side surface of the cell stacks and
- a finished separator covers a region of the cell stack on which the adhesive layer is formed,
- wherein the adhesive layer comprises a laser absorption-type adhesive.

A manufacturing method of an electrode assembly, the method comprising:
- forming a cell stack in which electrodes and separator sections are alternately stacked;
- applying an adhesive to a side surface of the cell stack;
- wrapping a periphery of the cell stack to which the adhesive is applied with a finished separator;
- and
- curing the adhesive by a laser to form an adhesive layer.
