A flame-retardant cable comprising:
- an inner conductive electrical cable;
- an insulative layer encompassing the inner conductive electrical wire;
- wherein the insulative layer comprises one or more fluoropolymers or a reaction product thereof.
A method of reducing the risk of forest fires comprising:
- applying an insulative layer around a conductive element, wherein the insulative layer comprises one or more fluoropolymers or a reaction product thereof.
