Abstract
A novel end assembly for canes and other walking aids having a linear adjustable hydraulic shock absorber threaded into the distal end of the cane and facility for mounting various cane and walking aid ends.
Claims4
A linear adjustable hydraulic shock absorber end assembly for walking aids comprising:
- a threaded receiver or threaded distal end of a walking aid tube into which a hydraulic shock absorber is threaded and secured by a lock nut;
- a barrel attached to the distal end of the hydraulic shock absorber shaft which facilitates the mounting of a plurality walking aid ends.
A walking aid having an elongated tubular shaft which along with the threaded receiver attached to the distal end or threaded distal end of the walking aid tube forms a cavity to house a hydraulic shock absorber.
