A method for a communication apparatus, the method comprising:

• communicating with a User Equipment (UE);
• and
• sending a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message,
• wherein the RRC message includes information indicating whether a measurement gap is activated upon switching to a bandwidth part.

A User Equipment (UE) comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one hardware processor coupled to the at least one memory and configured to:
• communicate with a communication apparatus;
• and
• receive a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message,
• wherein the RRC message includes information indicating whether a measurement gap is activated upon switching to a bandwidth part.

A communication apparatus comprising:

• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one hardware processor coupled to the at least one memory and configured to:
• communicate with a User Equipment (UE);
• and
• send a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message,
• wherein the RRC message includes information indicating whether a measurement gap is activated upon switching to a bandwidth part.
