Crop growth system including a seeder and associated harvester

A method for growth of crops in a growth medium comprising:

• seeding the growth medium with seeds for the crops;
• during the seeding, obtaining property information concerning individual seeds being seeded;
• when the crops are grown on the growth medium, harvesting the crops using a harvester;
• using a common threshing system to separate harvested-elements of the harvested crops from other crop material;
• collecting the harvested elements from the common threshing system as a common supply of the separated harvested elements;
• singulating the harvested elements from the common supply so that each harvested element is singulated from the other harvested elements into a singulated stream of the harvested elements for measurement using a sensing system;
• during the harvesting obtaining property information from said sensing system concerning individual seeds being harvested;
• and correlating said property information from the individual seeded seeds seeded and said property information from the harvested seeds with location information from a location sensor in respect of a particular location on the growth medium.
