Methods for uplink transmission, related wireless devices and related network nodes

A method, performed by a wireless device, for uplink transmission to a network node, the method comprising:

• transmitting, to the network node, a buffer status report comprising first information indicative of an amount of data in a buffer of the wireless device;
• wherein the buffer status report comprises second information further qualifying the data in the buffer;
• and
• receiving, from the network node, control signalling indicative of an allocation of a resource for uplink transmission of the data;
• wherein the second information comprises burst information indicating at least two data packets belonging to a same burst.
