Base station assistance for impairments correction and handling for amplify-and-forward repeaters

An apparatus for wireless communication at a network node, comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• at least one processor coupled to the memory and, based at least in part on information stored in the memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
• transmit, for a wireless device, a first indication of one or more conditions associated with at least one of a set of non-linear (NL) characteristics or a set of droop characteristics;
• and
• receive, from the wireless device, one or more of:
• (1) a second indication of at least one of the set of NL characteristics or the set of droop characteristics, or (2) at least one of a list of excluded resources or a set of indexes for the list of excluded resources that are associated with interference at the wireless device, wherein at least one of the set of NL characteristics or the set of droop characteristics is associated with a digital pre-distortion (DPD) training session.

A method of wireless communication at a wireless device, comprising:

• obtaining a first indication of one or more conditions associated with at least one of a set of non-linear (NL) characteristics or a set of droop characteristics;
• measuring at least one of the set of NL characteristics or the set of droop characteristics, wherein at least one of the set of NL characteristics or the set of droop characteristics is associated with a digital pre-distortion (DPD) training session;
• and
• transmitting, for a network node, one or more of:
• (1) a second indication of at least one of the measured set of NL characteristics or the measured set of droop characteristics, or (2) at least one of a list of excluded resources or a set of indexes for the list of excluded resources that are associated with interference at the wireless device.

A method of wireless communication at a network node, comprising:

• transmitting, for a wireless device, a first indication of one or more conditions associated with at least one of a set of non-linear (NL) characteristics or a set of droop characteristics;
• and
• receiving, from the wireless device, one or more of:
• (1) a second indication of at least one of the set of NL characteristics or the set of droop characteristics, or (2) at least one of a list of excluded resources or a set of indexes for the list of excluded resources that are associated with interference at the wireless device, wherein at least one of the set of NL characteristics or the set of droop characteristics is associated with a digital pre-distortion (DPD) training session.
