Abstract
A system for monitoring and recording and processing an activity includes one or more cameras for automatically recording video of the activity. A remote media system is located at the location of the activity. A network media processor and services is communicatively coupled with the remote media system. The remote media system includes one or more AI enabled cameras. The AI enabled camera is configured to record the activity. The network media processor is configured to receive an activation request of the AI enabled camera and then validate the record request. The system may automatically administer a skill-based competition.

A system for interfacing with at least one golf course, the system comprising:
- a competition-based network media processor and services (CNMS) communicatively coupled to a remote video capture system located at the at least one golf course having a golf hole, the CNMS being remote from the remote video capture system, the CNMS including a network media processor configured to:
- receive an input from a user indicating an agreement to participate in one or more competitions at the at least one golf course,
- activate the remote video capture system at the at least one golf course to record a video of at least one golfer during the one or more competitions and collect data associated with the one or more competitions, and
- detect a successful attempt related to the one or more competitions.
A method for interfacing with at least one golf course, the method comprising the steps of:
- receiving an input from a user indicating an agreement to participate in one or more competitions at a golf hole of the at least one golf course using a network media processor of a competition-based network media processor and services (CNMS) communicatively coupled to and disposed remotely from a remote video capture system located at the golf course;
- activating the remote video capture system at the at least one golf course to record a video of at least one golfer during the one or more competitions and collect data associated with the one or more competitions using the;
- and
- detecting a successful attempt related to the one or more competitions.
A method for interfacing with at least one golf course, the method comprising the steps of:
- receiving an input at a competition-based network media processor and service (CNMS) from a user indicating an agreement to participate in one or more competitions at a golf hole of the at least one golf course;
- receiving a participation request at the CNMS in response to a detected presence and the input from the user, the participation request including a user profile identifier of the user;
- validating the user using the user profile identifier and a location of the golf hole using the CNMS;
- sending the participation request and activating a recording of a video of at least one golfer and the competition with an AI enabled camera of a remote video capture system located at the golf hole using the CNMS;
- detecting a specific object or objects in the recording of the at least one golfer using an AI logic installed on the CNMS;
- and
- detecting an occurrence of a winning event in the one or more competitions using the CNMS.
A system for interfacing with at least one golf course, the system comprising:
- a competition-based network media processor and services (CNMS) communicatively coupled to a remote video capture system located at the at least one golf course having a golf hole, the CNMS being remote from the remote video capture system, the CNMS including:
- a network communication interface configured to initiate a record event request to activate recording a video of at least one golfer participating in the one or more competitions, the record event request communicated to the remote video capture system,
- an AI logic configured to detect a specific object or objects in the video of the at least one golfer, and
- a network media processor configured to:
- receive a participation request and an input from a user indicating an agreement to participate in one or more competitions from a digital media enabled destination,
- activate the remote video capture system at the at least one golf course to record a video of at least one golfer during the one or more competitions associated with the one or more competitions,
- receive radar data associated with the one or more competitions from a radar unit of the remote video capture system at the golf hole and configured to detect movement,
- process frames of the video recording using image processing and the AI logic,
- detect a successful attempt related to the one or more competitions, detection of the successful attempt including determining distance a golf ball associated with the at least one golfer is to the golf hole using at least one of the AI logic and the radar data and the image processing,
- send a message including at least one of an email, a notification, or a text to notify the at least one golfer associated with the successful attempt of winning the one or more competitions, and
- initiate payment to the at least one golfer associated with the successful attempt.
