DATA PACKAGING PROTOCOLS FOR COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN IoT DEVICES

An apparatus comprising:

• at least one memory;
• machine-readable instructions;
• and
• programmable circuitry to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine-readable instructions to at least:
• segment a data file into a plurality of fragments based on a payload size of packets to be used for transmission of the plurality of the fragments;
• determine respective hash codes for respective ones of the plurality of the fragments;
• identify a target node based on a first one of the hash codes;
• and
• cause transmission of a first one of the plurality of the fragments to the target node.

An apparatus comprising:

• at least one memory;
• machine-readable instructions;
• and
• programmable circuitry to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine-readable instructions to at least:
• after obtaining a first file fragment from a first node, generate a first key using a hash function based on the first file fragment;
• transmit at least one of a node identifier corresponding to the first key or a second key corresponding to the first key to an upstream node;
• and
• after obtaining first acknowledgment data from the upstream node indicating that the upstream node received the first file fragment, transmit second acknowledgment data to the first node to cause the first node to transmit one or more second file fragments to the upstream node via the apparatus.

A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions to cause programmable circuitry to at least:

• after obtaining a first file fragment from a first node, generate a first key using a hash function based on the first file fragment;
• transmit at least one of a node identifier corresponding to the first key or a second key corresponding to the first key to an upstream node;
• and
• after obtaining first acknowledgment data from the upstream node indicating that the upstream node received the first file fragment, transmit second acknowledgment data to the first node to cause the first node to transmit one or more second file fragments to the upstream node.
