Abstract
Disclosed is a light emitting diode display device comprising a light emitting diode over a substrate, and an optical element provided with liquid crystal molecule randomly distributed therein and configured to change a path of light emitted from the light emitting diode.

A light emitting diode display device comprising:
- a light emitting diode over a substrate;
- and
- an optical element including a liquid crystal molecule randomly distributed therein and configured to change a path of light emitted from the light emitting diode.
A light emitting diode display device comprising:
- a light emitting diode over a substrate;
- an upper optical element provided with liquid crystal molecule randomly distributed therein and provided over the light emitting diode;
- and
- a lower optical element provided with liquid crystal molecule randomly distributed therein and provided between the substrate and the light emitting diode,
- wherein in operation, light emitted downward from the light emitting diode is reflected or scattered by the lower optical element and has a changed light path in an upward direction,
- wherein in operation, light emitted upward from the light emitting diode and the light reflected or scattered by the lower optical element upwardly are scattered while being transmitted through the upper optical element.
