Abstract
A display device includes a pixel circuit layer including a transistor, a growth substrate disposed on the pixel circuit layer, a light emitting element disposed on the growth substrate, and an electrode disposed on the light emitting element and electrically connecting the light emitting element and the transistor.

A display device comprising:
- a pixel circuit layer including a transistor;
- a growth substrate disposed on the pixel circuit layer;
- a light emitting element disposed on the growth substrate;
- and
- an electrode disposed on the light emitting element and electrically connecting the light emitting element and the transistor.

A method for manufacturing a display device comprising:
- forming a growth substrate on a pixel circuit layer including a transistor;
- sequentially forming a first semiconductor layer, a light emitting layer, and a second semiconductor layer on the growth substrate;
- forming an electrode layer on the second semiconductor layer;
- forming an insulating layer covering the light emitting layer and the second semiconductor layer and partially exposing the electrode layer;
- and
- forming an electrode electrically connecting the electrode layer and the transistor.
