Platform supporting centralized access for remote mri workflow for implanted devices

A healthcare system comprising:

• an MR platform comprising:
• non-transitory memory configured to store:
• program instructions;
• and
• patient specific records associated with individual patients, each of the patient specific records including:
• a summary of an implanted system including an IMD;
• and
• patient identifying information;
• and
• one or more processors that, when executing the program instructions, are configured to:
• receive MRI settings associated with a first patient specific record, the MRI settings configured to be programmed into a first IMD in advance of an MRI exam, wherein the first IMD is associated with the first patient specific record;
• store the MRI settings in the first patient specific record;
• and
• in response to an input received through a graphical user interface, remotely program the MRI settings into the first IMD in advance of the MRI exam.

A healthcare system comprising:

• an MR platform comprising:
• an MRI implant portal configured to provide secure access to information associated with the MR platform;
• non-transitory memory configured to store:
• program instructions;
• and
• patient specific records associated with individual patients, each of the patient specific records including a summary of an implanted system including an IMD and patient identifying information;
• and
• one or more processors that, when executing the program instructions, are configured to:
• create a first patient specific record associated with the first patient;
• store the first patient specific record in the memory;
• and
• transmit a code configured to electronically direct a user to the MRI implant portal, wherein the code is associated with the first patient or the first patient specific record.
