Abstract
A system and method for obscuring content from screen capture by a user device comprises accessing a content item. The system and method further comprise generating modified content item comprising a set of frames based on the content item, the set of frames comprising: a first frame comprising a modified version of the content item, and a second frame comprising a solid color. The system and method further comprise causing display of the modified content item by the user device. The causing of the display comprises causing the user device to alternate between displaying the first frame and the second frame.

A system comprising:
- at least one hardware processor;
- and
- at least one memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one hardware processor, cause the at least one hardware processor to perform operations comprising:
- accessing a content item;
- generating a modified content item comprising a set of frames based on the content item, the set of frames comprising:
- a first frame comprising a modified version of the content item, and
- a second frame comprising a solid color;
- and
- causing display of the modified content item by a user device, the causing of the display comprising causing the user device to alternate between displaying the first frame and the second frame.
A method comprising:
- accessing a content item;
- generating a modified content item comprising a set of frames based on the content item, the set of frames comprising:
- a first frame comprising a modified version of the content item, and
- a second frame comprising a solid color;
- and
- causing display of the modified content item by a user device, the causing of the display comprising causing the user device to alternate between displaying the first frame and the second frame.
A machine-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
- access a content item;
- generate a modified content item comprising a set of frames based on the content item, the set of frames comprising:
- a first frame comprising a modified version of the content item, and
- a second frame comprising a solid color;
- and
- cause display of the modified content item by a user device, the causing of the display comprising causing the user device to alternate between displaying the first frame and the second frame.
