Abstract
This application provides a fingerprint input method and an electronic device. The method includes: acquiring, by an electronic device, fingerprint information corresponding to a fingerprint of a first part of a finger, and then displaying a fingerprint pattern of a first region in a fingerprint display region. After that, the electronic device acquires fingerprint information corresponding to a fingerprint of a second part of the finger, and then displays a fingerprint pattern of a second region in the fingerprint display region. The electronic device may register a fingerprint of the finger based on a plurality of pieces of fingerprint information acquired.
Claims22
An electronic device, comprising:
- one or more processors, a memory, and a fingerprint sensor;
- and one or more computer programs, wherein the one or more computer programs are stored on the memory, and the computer programs, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform the following steps:
- displaying a new fingerprint interface in response to a first user operation received;
- acquiring first fingerprint information in a case that a first part of a finger detected by the fingerprint sensor overlies a fingerprint sensing region;
- displaying a first fingerprint pattern in a first region of a fingerprint display region according to the first fingerprint information to indicate that a fingerprint of the first part of the finger has been inputted;
- acquiring second fingerprint information in a case that a second part of the finger detected by the fingerprint sensor overlies the fingerprint sensing region;
- the first fingerprint information being different from the second fingerprint information;
- displaying a second fingerprint pattern in a second region of the fingerprint display region according to the second fingerprint information to indicate that a fingerprint of the second part of the finger has been inputted;
- the first region being different from the second region;
- and
- registering a fingerprint of the finger based on the first fingerprint information and the second fingerprint information.

An electronic device, comprising:
- one or more processors, a memory, and a fingerprint sensor;
- and
- one or more computer programs, wherein the one or more computer programs are stored on the memory, and the computer programs, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to perform the following steps:
- displaying a new fingerprint interface in response to a first user operation received;
- acquiring first fingerprint information in a case that a first part of a finger detected by the fingerprint sensor overlies a fingerprint sensing region;
- filling a first region of a fingerprint display region with a background color to indicate that a fingerprint of the first part of the finger has been inputted;
- acquiring second fingerprint information in a case that a second part of the finger detected by the fingerprint sensor overlies the fingerprint sensing region;
- the first fingerprint information being different from the second fingerprint information;
- filling a second region of the fingerprint display region with a background color to indicate that a fingerprint of the second part of the finger has been inputted;
- the first region being different from the second region;
- and
- registering a fingerprint of the finger based on the first fingerprint information and the second fingerprint information.

A computer-readable storage medium, comprising a computer program, wherein the computer program, when run on an electronic device, causes the electronic device to perform the following steps:
- displaying a new fingerprint interface in response to a first user operation received;
- acquiring first fingerprint information in a case that a first part of a finger detected by the fingerprint sensor overlies a fingerprint sensing region;
- displaying a first fingerprint pattern in a first region of a fingerprint display region according to the first fingerprint information to indicate that a fingerprint of the first part of the finger has been inputted;
- acquiring second fingerprint information in a case that a second part of the finger detected by the fingerprint sensor overlies the fingerprint sensing region;
- the first fingerprint information being different from the second fingerprint information;
- displaying a second fingerprint pattern in a second region of the fingerprint display region according to the second fingerprint information to indicate that a fingerprint of the second part of the finger has been inputted;
- the first region being different from the second region;
- and
- registering a fingerprint of the finger based on the first fingerprint information and the second fingerprint information.
