Abstract
A processor derives, at each pixel of a plurality of tubular structures, running vectors representing running directions of the plurality of tubular structures based on a medical image including the plurality of tubular structures, and separates the plurality of tubular structures using the running vectors.

An image processing apparatus comprising at least one processor,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- derive, at each pixel of a plurality of tubular structures, running vectors representing running directions of the plurality of tubular structures based on a medical image including the plurality of tubular structures;
- and
- separate the plurality of tubular structures using the running vectors.

- deriving, at each pixel of a plurality of tubular structures, running vectors representing running directions of the plurality of tubular structures based on a medical image including the plurality of tubular structures;
- and
- separating the plurality of tubular structures using the running vectors.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that stores an image processing program causing a computer to execute:
- a step of deriving, at each pixel of a plurality of tubular structures, running vectors representing running directions of the plurality of tubular structures based on a medical image including the plurality of tubular structures;
- and
- a step of separating the plurality of tubular structures using the running vectors.
