Controlling A Plurality Of Available Electronic Devices Based On In-Air Hand Gestures Detected Via A Wrist-Wearable Device, Using In-Air Hand Gestures To Modify Graphical Images Before Sending The Graphical Images Via A Messaging Application

A method, comprising:

• while a display capsule is configured to use a default set of display characteristics in conjunction with a plurality of operating-system-level or application-level user interfaces available via the display capsule:
• receiving identifying information, at the display capsule, for a respective wearable structure of a plurality of wearable structures, the display capsule being configured to detachably couple to one of the plurality of wearable structures to form a wrist-wearable device;
• and
• in accordance with a determination that the display capsule should be adjusted based on the identifying information for the respective wearable structure:
• adjusting the display capsule (i) to cease using the default set of display characteristics in conjunction with the plurality of operating-system-level or application-level user interfaces and (ii) to use a customized set of display characteristics associated with the respective wearable structure, wherein the customized set of display characteristics is distinct from the default set of display characteristics and is also used in conjunction with the operating-system or application-level user interfaces.
