Touch panel device

A touch panel device comprising:

• a first conductive film having a first region, a second region and a third region electrically separated from each other;
• a second conductive film laminated on the first conductive film across a gap;
• a first electrode provided on the first conductive film and electrically connected to a first terminal;
• a second electrode provided on the first conductive film, facing the first electrode across the first region, and electrically connected to a second terminal;
• a first switch provided in the second region and electrically connecting the first conductive film and the second conductive film;
• a second switch provided in the third region and electrically connecting the first conductive film and the second conductive film;
• a third electrode provided in the second region and electrically connected to a third terminal;
• and
• a fourth electrode provided in the third region and electrically connected to a fourth terminal.
