Abstract
A display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a display medium layer is provided. The second substrate is disposed opposite to the first substrate. The display medium layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. At least one of the first substrate and the second substrate includes a plastic base and a support layer, and the plastic base is disposed between the support layer and the display medium layer. A thickness of the support layer ranges from 0.3 mm to 3 mm.

A display panel, comprising:
- a first substrate;
- a second substrate, disposed opposite to the first substrate;
- and
- a display medium layer, disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate,
- wherein at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate comprises a plastic base and a support layer, and the plastic base is disposed between the support layer and the display medium layer,
- wherein a thickness of the support layer ranges from 0.3 mm to 3 mm,
- wherein the thickness of the support layer and a diagonal length of the display panel conform to a following formula of correlation:
- dR1=α ln(D)-β,
- wherein dR1 is the thickness of the support layer in a unit of mm, D is the diagonal length of the display panel in a unit of inches, α≥0.5, and β≥1.
