Abstract
Systems and method for determining State-of-Health (SOH) for energy storage devices are described herein. An example method includes measuring a complex impedance of an energy storage device for a range of frequency, and estimating a state of health (SOH) of the energy storage device based on an interrelationship between a magnitude and a phase of the complex impedance of the energy storage device.

A method for determining State-of-Health (SOH) for energy storage devices, comprising:
- measuring a complex impedance of an energy storage device for a range of frequency;
- and
- estimating a state of health (SOH) of the energy storage device based on an interrelationship between a magnitude and a phase of the complex impedance of the energy storage device.

A system for determining State-of-Health (SOH) of energy storage devices, comprising:
- an energy storage device;
- a machine learning module that is configured to predict a state of health (SOH) of the energy storage device;
- and
- a computing device comprising a processor and a memory, the memory having computer-executable instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- receive a complex impedance of the energy storage device for a range of frequency;
- input an interrelationship between a magnitude and a phase of the complex impedance of the energy storage device into the machine learning module;
- and
- receive an output predicted by the machine learning module, wherein the output is the SOH of the energy storage device.

A method, comprising:
- measuring a complex impedance of an energy storage device for a range of frequency;
- and
- estimating a degradation in state of health (SOH) of the energy storage device based on an interrelationship between a magnitude and a phase of the complex impedance of the energy storage device.
