Abstract
Disclosed herein are methods, kits, and systems for detecting or determining an amount, quantity, concentration and/or level of immunoglobulin G, subclass 4 (LgG4) in a biological sample from a subject. Particularly, the methods, kits and systems are directed to detection of IgG4 using an anti-IgG4 antibody that does not cross-react with other IgG subclasses.
Claims42
A method of detecting immunoglobulin G, subclass 4 (IgG4) in a biological sample, wherein the method comprises performing an assay on the biological sample obtained from a subject, wherein the assay includes adding an anti-IgG4 antibody capture reagent to the biological sample, wherein the anti-IgG4 antibody capture reagent comprises an anti-IgG4 antibody immobilized on a solid support, wherein the anti-IgG4 antibody does not cross-react with other IgG subclasses.
In an improvement of a method of detecting immunoglobulin G, subclass 4 (IgG4) in a biological sample, wherein the method comprises performing an assay on the biological sample obtained from a subject, wherein the assay includes adding an anti-IgG4 antibody capture reagent to the biological sample, wherein the anti-IgG4 antibody capture reagent comprises an anti-IgG4 antibody immobilized on a solid support, wherein the improvement comprises using an anti-IgG4 antibody that does not cross-react with other IgG subclasses.
Use of an anti-IgG4 antibody capture reagent for detecting immunoglobulin G, subclass 4 (IgG4) in a biological sample, wherein the anti-IgG4 antibody capture reagent comprises an anti-IgG4 antibody immobilized on a solid support, wherein the anti-IgG4 antibody does not cross-react with other IgG subclasses.
