Abstract
A ceiling display mount includes a tilt mechanism configured to selectively position a secured display from a collapsed position generally parallel to a ceiling to a fully deployed position generally perpendicular to the ceiling. The ceiling display mount further includes a rotation mechanism allowing the secured display to rotate side to side to change the horizontal viewing angle.
Claims22
A ceiling display mount comprising:
- a ceiling mount;
- a housing;
- a rotation mechanism rotatably coupling the housing to the ceiling mount, the rotation mechanism including a first electric motor coupled to the housing, the first electric motor operable to rotate the housing relative to the ceiling mount;
- a display mount;
- and
- a tilt mechanism coupling the display mount to the housing, the tilt mechanism including a linkage between the display mount and the housing and a tilt drive mechanism with a second electric motor operable to raise and lower the display mount relative to the housing.
