Abstract
A fire extinguishing material forming composition contains: a fire extinguishing agent including at least one of a hygroscopic organic salt and an inorganic salt; and a binder including at least one of a polyvinyl acetal resin and a polyvinyl alcohol resin.

A fire extinguishing material forming composition, comprising:
- a fire extinguishing agent including at least one of a hygroscopic organic salt and an inorganic salt;
- and
- a binder including at least one of a polyvinyl acetal resin and a polyvinyl alcohol resin.
A method for producing a fire extinguishing member including an adherend having an uneven surface to be treated, a fire extinguishing agent containing layer provided on the surface to be treated, and a protective layer provided on a surface of the fire extinguishing agent containing layer, the fire extinguishing agent containing layer including a binder and a fire extinguishing agent, the method comprising:
- (A) preparing the adherend having the uneven surface to be treated;
- (B) forming the fire extinguishing agent containing layer on the surface to be treated;
- and
- (C) forming the protective layer on the fire extinguishing agent containing layer,
- wherein in step (C), the protective layer is formed by wet coating.
