Abstract
Provided are antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof that bind to human interleukin-11 receptor subunit α (IL-11Rα) and related compositions, which may be used in any of a variety of therapeutic or diagnostic methods, including the treatment or diagnosis of cancers, inflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, and others.
Claims28
An isolated antibody, or an antigen binding fragment thereof, which binds to interleukin-11 receptor subunit α (IL-11Rα), wherein the antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, comprises a heavy chain variable region (VH) comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 233 and a light chain variable region (VL) comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 234, wherein the antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, binds to human IL-11Rα with a binding affinity (KD) of less than about 100 pM.
- 209 and a light chain variable region (VL) comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 210 and wherein the antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, inhibits IL-11 signaling with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of about 0.25 μg/mL or less using a cell-based reporter assay.
A method of treating a disease or condition in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier and an isolated antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, which binds to interleukin-11 receptor subunit α (IL-11Rα), wherein the antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, comprises a heavy chain variable region (VH) comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 233 and a light chain variable region (VL) comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 234, wherein the antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, binds to human IL-11Rα with a binding affinity (KD) of less than about 100 pM.
- 209 and a light chain variable region (VL) comprising an amino acid sequence at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 210, wherein the antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, inhibits IL-11 signaling with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of about 0.25 μg/mL or less using a cell-based reporter assay.
