Direct thermal and thermal transfer label combination

A roll of label combinations comprising:

• a first web of a first substrate, wherein the first substrate includes a first print coating on a frontside of the first substrate;
• and
• as second web of a second substrate, wherein the second substrate includes a second print coating on a backside or a frontside of the second substrate;
• wherein a backside of the first substrate is aligned over and joined with a frontside of the second substrate to form the roll of label combinations.

A label combination comprising:

• a first thermal print coating disposed on a frontside of a first substrate;
• and
• a second thermal print coating disposed on a backside of a second substrate;
• wherein a backside of the first substrate is aligned and joined to a frontside of the second substrate to form the label combination.
