Abstract
A sensor device includes a first electrode and a second electrode. Each of the first and second electrodes are electrically coupled to an electrical bridge. The electrical bridge includes a conductive polymer having a first impedance state and a second impedance state that is different than the first impedance state. The electrical bridge includes metal or metal containing particles.
Claims14
A sensor device comprising:
- a first electrode and a second electrode, each of the first and second electrodes being electrically coupled to an electrical bridge;
- the electrical bridge comprising:
- a conductive polymer having a first impedance state and a second impedance state that is different than the first impedance state;
- metal or metal containing particles;
- and
- a polymeric binder, wherein the metal or metal containing particles and conductive polymer are dispersed in the polymeric binder.

A sensor device comprising:
- a sterilant-responsive switch comprising:
- a first electrode and a second electrode, each having a first end electrically coupled to the circuit and a second end;
- a conductive polymer having a first state and a second state;
- a conductive particle;
- and
- a polymeric binder;
- wherein the conductive polymer is capable of being converted from being in the first state to being in the second state when in contact with a sterilant.
